Le groupe australien Wolfmother, réduit au seul guitariste/chanteur Andrew Stockdale après le départ du bassiste et du batteur en août 2008, a finalement enregistré un second album avec un nouveau line-up.

Bien qu’il ait été dans le flou après le départ des deux musiciens, la vitesse avec laquelle Stockdale a reformé le groupe, puis planifié écrit et enregistré l’album en moins d’un an témoigne d’une volonté peu commune. Wolfmother est maintenant un quatuor avec l’ajout d’un second guitariste, Aiden Nemeth.

« Cosmic Egg » est prévu pour le 13 octobre. Un premier single, « Back Round » est déjà en écoute ici. Le groupe sera en tournée (pas de dates en Europe) jusqu’en 2010. En février et mars, ils ouvriront pour AC/DC dans les stades australiens !
