Le frontman de Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, Jack Johnson et Norah Jones ont participé récemment à l'enregistrement d'un tribute to Nick Drake. C'est ce qu'a confirmé au midem de Cannes David Schulhof, directeur de EverGreen Copyrights qui détient les droits d'édition pour l'ensemble de l'œuvre du songwriter britannique.
Une série de reprises de Drake, décédé en 1974 d'une overdose à l'âge de 26 ans, a donc été enregistrée, et l'album devrait voir le jour dans le courant de l'année, produit par Brushfire Records, le propre label de Jack Johnson, qui serait également à l'origine du choix des titres.
On attend ça avec beaucoup de curiosité.
