EVH Wolfgang: la nouvelle guitare d’Eddie Van Halen

Eddie est un guitariste passionné, qui a multiplié au fil de sa carrière les instruments portant sa griffe travaillant aussi bien avec Kramer, Charvel que Peavey avant de revenir en 2007 avec EVH, une marque créée par Fender pour ce grand monsieur de la six corde. Et après la Frankenstrat et son ampli le 5150III c’est au tour de la Wolfgang de se réinventer.

C’est avec Peavey à l’origine que fut réalisée la première version de la Wolfgang, une guitare qui est encore présente dans le catalogue du constructeur sous le nom HP.

Il aura fallu deux ans de recherche et développement et un an de tests en live pour donner naissance à cette EVH Wolfgang.
Le corps est en tilleul et la table en érable (AA). Le manche en érable reçoit une jolie touche elle aussi en érable. Côté électronique cette Wolfgang est équipée de deux humbucker EVH en position chevalet et manche.

Enfin ce modèle existe dans trois finitions différentes : Black, Vintage White et Tobacco Burst.
