A l’origine les intra auriculaires ont été développés pour répondre aux besoins des professionnels sur scène.

Aujourd’hui Sennheiser propose la série IE se déclinant dans une version à destination du grand public. Parmi les points communs aux IE6, IE7 et IE8, on notera un design ergonomique et les nombreux types d’embouts en silicones souples qui permettent une excellente atténuation du bruit ambiant (jusqu’à 26 dB), mais aussi une robustesse à toute épreuve avec leur coque ultra-résistante et un câble renforcé en kevlar supportant une utilisation intensive.

L’IE 6 est proposé à 150 €, l’IE 7 à 230 € et l’IE 8 à 320 €

    Ils ne sont pas fous, chez Sennheiser; ils présentent ça comme de simples casques optimisés pour les baladeurs audio/vidéo...

    Mais c'est à tester.
