Le dernier album du groupe anglais Arctic Monkeys sortira lundi prochain, 24 août. Le groupe s’est retrouvé aux États-Unis à Joshua Tree pour enregistrer la suite de « Favourite Worst Nightmare ». Les gros moyens ont été réquisitionnés puisque le groupe a choisi de travailler avec Josh Homme (Queen Of The Stone Age) et James Ford (The Last Shadow Puppets et The Klaxons notamment). Pourtant, les quatre jeunes musiciens ont été économes pour l’artwork d’ « Humbug » puisque la pochette ne leur a coûté qu’un seul dollar soit le prix d’un appareil photo acheté à des étudiants à Joshua Tree.

C’est d'ailleurs la première fois que le groupe en entier apparaît sur une pochette d’album. Alex Turner, le chanteur - guitariste l’explique en affirmant qu’ « il s’agit de l’album qui leur correspond le plus ». Alex a révélé à nos homologues américains : « nous avons voulu composer un album plus sombre et plus lourd mais, au final, l’album conserve un côté pop comme sur les précédents ».
